In the region of Bharuch, Gujarat, the church is growing!
Since 2023, 104 new churches have been planted, 2,000+ new believers, and over 1,200 children are hearing the gospel each week. These are small, house-based churches, led by local believers who risk opposition but continue to share the love of Christ boldly. Their courage is changing the story of this region.

Why Bharuch?
Bharuch is in the state of Gujarat, along the western coast of India. Many religions are followed by the people of Bharuch but the majority are Hindus, with a very large Muslim minority. Most families live without a local church or access to the Gospel.
Through IGL’s Adopt-A-Region program, we are committed to saturating the region in church plants. Not just one here and another there, but 310 new churches in five years. Local leaders are trained, disciples are made, and entire communities are transformed.
